Sales Onboarding Manager

A guide to onboard a merchant using the Sales Onboarding Manager.

  1. Select the appropriate product that best fits the merchant from the dropdown list.

  2. From the dashboard, click the Create New Merchant.

  3. Complete the required merchant information fields.

  4. Click on Create Merchant to submit the merchant information.

  5. Select the Copy Icon to copy the URL.

  6. Send the URL to the merchant so they can complete their onboarding process.

📌Note: Between steps 5 and 6, the system will generate a unique onboarding URL for the merchant.


Monitor and Manage Merchant Applications

  1. Click on Back to Merchants to return to the dashboard.

  2. Type a customer's identifying details in the search bar to find the relevant customer.

  3. Under Actions, click on View to check the status of the application.

Here are some of the status definitions and what they mean within the application:

Credit Risk Data Capture

  • Pending means awaiting completion of the KYB (Ballerine) collection form by the customer.

  • Complete means customer has entered and submitted all required information in the KYB collection form.

Credit Risk Status

  • N/A applies when the Credit Risk Data Capture column is still sat in "Pending".

  • Pending means the credit risk assessment is in progress by the Risk & Compliance team and is not yet complete.

  • Approved means the application has been approved.

  • Declined means the application has been declined.

Gateway KYC

  • N/A applies when the Credit Risk Data Capture column is still sat in "Pending".

  • Pending means awaiting customer completion of the KYC (Stripe/Adyen) collection form by the customer.

  • Complete means the customer has entered and submitted all required information in the KYC collection form.

  • Active means the Stripe connected account/Adyen sub-merchant account has been approved and enabled by the provider.
